Join us for our final talk of the year with Yu Sun, a product professional focused on emerging technologies. She recently defended her PhD in Human–Computer Interaction (HCI) at the University of St. Gallen, exploring the design of everyday experiences in virtual and mixed reality.

What would make us go from putting on a device to play, to wearing one just like an ordinary pair of glasses?

This talk provides insights into the latest AR industry developments, from wearable gaming displays to lightweight everyday glasses. From her perspective as a product professional, Yu shares thoughts on whether today’s niche applications could build habits and push towards broader adoption, or simply thrive in specialised markets without converging into one everyday device.
