[Public Event][The People for the People] Demonstration for Palestine

This acts as an announcement to the public event of the Palestine demonstration at Helvetiaplatz hosted by Palestine Committee Zurich.

Israel is occupying Palestinian land since decades and not granting Palestinians any state nor right of self determination nor even the right of return whereas others are being welcomed to live freely in Israel.

The Genocide in Gaza and escalation of settler violence in the West Bank is further pushing the ethnic cleansing of the indiginous Palestinian population off their lands, with Israeli Politicians continuously calling to annex and resettle Palestinian land, and Netanyahu even talking openly about his aspirations of 'greater Israel' project where Israeli territories would expand beyond Iraqi borders.
In the meantime the US and Britian -who funded Israel's war- want to define Gaza's governance instead of allowing Palestinians to self determine. Is this how a two-state-solution is made? Is this how peace is made?
Why haven't our Goverments and Institutions sanctioned Israel yet as they did with Russia? Is this accountability or hypocracy?

Let's please gather our voices to demand dignity, humanity and equal rights for all people including Palestinians who have been failed for too long by our Goverments and Systems that supported the illegal occupier that is Israel and not the illegally occupied people of Palestine, and let's gather our voices to demand equal accountability to be held of Israel by our goverment and systems as has been done with other countries.
