Aida Returns follows director Carol Mansour accompanying her mother Aida through Alzheimer’s and an extraordinary journey back to Yafa, the city where Aida was born and raised — made possible through solidarity. At its heart, the film is a tribute to lost family pasts and collective memory, affirming the plight of Palestinians denied the right to return.
