Drawing Session Club
Drawing Session is a gathering that is happening the last 5 years in Zürich.
Shaping a social sculpture where drawing is a tool to observe.
Open to all and located in Orangerie - Bonsai Garten next to Rietberg Park, hosted by Artemis Tsakiri. We all pose and all draw each other. We take it in turns to pose while the rest of the group draws. Usually we have a format of 7 minutes pose.
It's a nice exercise first of all for our drawing skills, but also to give some quality time to observe each other as a form of communication.
It’s very important to make clear that it is not necessary to have practice before drawing:)
It’s a shared place where experienced artists and people with no experience can be together.
A meeting point which opens the space for creating a community where drawing is marks and gesture of sharing practice, communication and observation.
