About Sean Parent
Sean is widely recognised for his profound insights and influential talks on writing clean, efficient, and robust C++ code. As a Senior Principal Scientist and Software Architect at Adobe, Sean has played a pivotal role in the development of iconic software like Photoshop and Lightroom. Sean's presentations, such as his renowned "C++ Seasoning," are always highly anticipated, offering invaluable practical advice and fresh perspectives that challenge and inspire developers. We're incredibly excited to host him and learn directly from one of the industry's most respected voices.

Are We There Yet?
In 2007, I gave a Google Tech Talk, A Possible Future of Software Development. Unfortunately, my work in the area stopped just a couple of years later. Adobe’s Software Technology Lab 2.0 is picking it back up. What has happened during the last 18 years, and what does the future look like now?

About Dmitry Vyukov
Dmitry is a Principal Software Engineer at Google. He works on dynamic analysis tools for C/C++ (like Address/Memory/ThreadSanitizer), similar tools for the Linux kernel, and fuzzing. He's the author of several notable projects, including syzkaller (an OS kernel fuzzer) and go-fuzz (a fuzzer for the Go language). A recognized expert in multithreading, concurrency, and synchronization, Dmitry has authored a dozen novel lock-free algorithms and holds the Intel Black Belt title. At Google, his work has included optimizing core infrastructure libraries like TCMalloc and TensorFlow. In the past he also implemented a scalable goroutine scheduler, a network poller, and a parallel garbage collector for the Go language.
