Covid-19 Challenge: Kickoff!

Live event to kickoff the world-wide medical image AI challenge on Covid-19 CT data

This is for medical AI enthusiasts who are eager to learn, to have fun coding and who believe that collaboration and helping others will yield the best results!
The event will be a live kickoff to the official part of the challenge. Teams from all over the world can apply to participate either als “Hunter teams” (up to 3 persons) or “Rangers”. By using a new framework we implemented on AWS it will be possible to train on a large number of curated medical datasets. This challenge is the first of three and the goal is to create the best model for the segmentation of thoracic CT into anatomic structures and pathologic findings (such as pneumonia).
The winning Hunter team will receive the “Snke OS award” of 7500€ worth of AWS credits. The three best Rangers will be awarded NVidia’s TitanRTX GPUs. But be sure our sponsors will have some more surprises for you!

Our event will be live broadcasted from central Munich, Germany to our Youtube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLsuoML5lSNxB8vHwUDH0bw). Your comments and questions during the event will be taken to the podium - we love to see you interacting with us!
