The scene of the hike in the region of the magnificent mountains Eiger and Jungfrau and their glaciers, in the Bernese Highlands. We start at Station Alpiglen and follow route 353 up to the Eiger Glacier viewpoint, then continue to Kleine Scheidegg.
From there continue back to Alpiglen along route 1 which should be a nice cool down for the hike.

7:50 Zürich Main Station, under blue angel

8:02 )(direction Brig) to Bern (expected Platform 31) - arrive in Bern 8:58 )
9:04 to interlaken Ost, arrive 9:58
10:05 platform 2B to Grindelwald arrive 10:39
10: 45 platform 11 to Alpiglen (request stop) arrive at 11:05

from Alpiglen, where we started, about 3h travel to Zurich HB

- High hiking boots (expect rocky mountain terrain)
- Sun / Wind / Rain protection
- Packed lunch and snacks
- Water (2+ liters recommended)
