Unterwasser/Iltios - Chäserrugg hike (~930 ascent)

Hey Guys
Join me for this hike to the Chäserrugg this Sunday. The peak is part of the Churfirsten chain just to the North of the Walensee - - wonderful panorama!
We take public transportation to Unterwasser (SG) (905 m asl) and take the gondola to the Iltios station (1343 m asl) where we start our hike. The route leads us uphill towards the S-SW and joins the Swiss national route 950 after about 1.5 km. The plan is to take the gondola back down from the peak.
There is a restaurant at the peak of Chäserrugg.
The weather is expected to be sunny but fresh (from 4 to 14C during the day).
Last cable car descending from the peak at 17:00.
To bring:
- Sturdy hiking boots (no sneakers)
- hiking poles recommended (slippage, rocks)
- packed lunch, snacks
- water 2l
- clothing: layers so you can adjust to varying temperatures - it is expected to be chilly on the peak.
- gloves, hat against wind chill
- Wind/Rain/Sun protection
- cheerfulness, smiles

Depart:
7:43 Zürich HB (direction Schwanden GL) to Ziegelbrücke 8:25
8:32 Ziegelbrücke (direction St Gallen) to Wattwil 8:59
9:09 Wattwil Kante B Bus 790 to Unterwasser Post 9:42
Cable car to Iltios (return "Churfirsten Pass"), with GA or day pass you pay 15 CHF)
Start Hike: 10:00
Return:
cable car from Chäserrugg to Unterwasser (last one descending 17.13)
- Cost: CHF 16.50 from Chäserugg to Iltios, (if you already have the return Churfirsten pass)
same way back from Unterwasser,
Buses at 16:12, 17:12
alternative back via Rapperswil, Bus at 16:42 etc
count with a travel time of 2 hours back to Zürich
