Exposure Science Film Hackathon

Details
UPDATE: Please note that even if the event is free, we can have only a limited number of participants, and who wants to participate thus needs to apply. Applications close on Sunday 17th of February, and shortly after that date you will be notified if you have been accepted or not.
Exposure Science Film Hackathon is a project that explores how to bring the worlds of science and storytelling together through the medium of film.
We create 3-day hackathons in which scientists team up with artists to learn, explore and innovate science communication.
The next event will take place in Zurich from the 15th to the 17th March.
By the end of the 3 days we have created beautiful films that accurately communicate science to the public. These films are presented to the local public in science cinema evenings.
Process
IN GROUPS OF 4, PARTICIPANTS WILL:
> find a scientific concept
> decide how they want to communicate this concept
> produce a short film aimed at a non-scientist audience
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Scientists, Filmmakers, Artists and anyone with a passion for communicating science.
The event is fun, free to attend (food is provided, too!) and is a great opportunity to connect with like-minded people and international experts in both filmmaking and science communication!
