[Kafka] Event Driven Microservices - Part 2

For this talk, we'll walk through a live event driven microservice system and architecture.

An event driven microservice platform is a software product that:

• is split up into microservices, listening on a common data channel
• uses events on to communicate and process data in real time

At scale, these types of systems are relatively new. Companies like Confluent have begun to popularize them as an alternative to traditional data warehousing.

This talk will be both a discussion and a demonstration of an existing system using this kind of architecture
