Gorgeous Gorge & Wonderful Wandern (T2)

Springtime hike of 5½ hrs: Through the Aareschlucht gorge and then onwards -hopefully sunny and with panoramic views- via Hasliberg to Brünigpass.

TRAVEL - OUTBOUND:

• 07:55h: Meet under the «Blue Angel»
• 08:10h: IR70 Zürich HB (platform 8) to Luzern
• 09:06h: PE Luzern (platform 12, dir. Interlaken) to Meiringen
• 10:16h: Arrival at Meiringen & start of the hike

HIKE DATA:

• Duration: 5½ hrs plus breaks
• Distance: 18km
• Ascent/descent: 900m up / 500m down
• SAC classification: T2 (red-white markings)

TRAVEL - RETURN:

• From Brünigpass
• Trains from Brünigpass at xx:03h and xx:51h.

TICKET COSTS:
Total ticket cost CHF 55.50 (w/HT) plus food/lunch/drinks:

• Outbound Zürich HB to Meiringen: CHF 22.50 (w/HT)
• Entrance fee to gorge: CHF 12.-
  (There is no way to bypass the gorge, we will walk through it.
  Groups of 10 get 1 ticket free.)
• Return from Brünigpass (Brünig-Hasliberg) to Zürich HB: CHF 21.- (w/HT)
