Creux du Van (14.5km, 800m up, 880m down, T2)

Starting from the village of Noiraigue, we will hike up through the forest to Creux du Van, a natural rock ampitheatre in the Jura mountains, ca. 1,400 metres wide and 150 metres deep.
We will walk round the top of the rocks then down into the valley, through Gorge de l'Areuse, and finish in the village of Champ-du-Moulin.

Travel
Meeting point:
08:20 under the blue angel (or on the train -> I will post the wagon number in the event chat.)

Outward journey:

• 08:30 - 10:07 - IC5 Zürich HB (platform 18 - check!) to Neuchâtel
• 10:13 - 10:34 - R21 Neuchâtel to Noiraigue

Return journey:

• By train Champ-du-Moulin - Neuchâtel - Zürich HB
• Connections every 30 mins at XX:59 and XX:30, 2 hour journey time
• Estimate we will be back in Zürich around 18:30
