Hi Guys - looking forward to this hike - I will meet you at the Pizolbahn at 9h50 (see travel from HB above).
The return gondola and chairlift to Pizolhütte etc.. costs CHF 27 halbtax and CHF 54 full fare.
Due to the recent volume of late cancellations and no shows only people who send CHF 5 to 079 330 60 99 will be registered for the hike. Money received will be sent to charities - please let me know which charities if you like?

This 10 km trail takes you past five stunning mountain lakes, each with its own unique color and charm – from the deep blue Wangsersee to the crystal-clear Schottensee, the turquoise Wildsee, the tranquil Schwarzsee, and the serene Baschalvasee.
🌿 Highlights:

• Panoramic views of the Glarus and Graubünden Alps
• Elevation from 2,200 to 2,500 meters – above the tree line!
• Refreshing dips in alpine lakes (if you're brave!)
• Wildflowers, marmots, and Instagram-worthy photo spots at every turn

🚠 Start with a scenic gondola ride from Wangs to Pizolhütte, then hike a well-marked, moderately challenging loop with some rocky sections and steep descents.
⏱️ Approx. 4–5 hours hiking time
🎒 Good hiking shoes, weather protection (extra tshirt, shorts?) & Lunch, snacks and water recommended and swimming gear with a towel if you want to try the lakes up there (it should still be 15 - 20c up there)
