I suggest you go skiing in Andermatt. For me, it's the most beautiful and largest resort in central Switzerland. We can ski on the Oberalppass side in the morning. We'll have lunch together at around 12:30 at 2'500m on the Gütsch. In the afternoon, we can ski up to 3'000m on the Gemsstock slope with its long, beautiful runs (1'500m vertical drop).

Train timetable from Zurich HB: departure 7.05am on track 11 - arrival 9.06 am Andermatt (Change Arth Goldau 7.54 track 5, Göschenen 8.54 track 11) - ticket 24.30 CHF Halb Tax

Train timetable Luzern HB : departure 7.18 track 7 - arrival 9.06 Andermatt (Change Göschenen 8.54 track 11) - ticket 20.3 CHF Halb tax

I don't live very far away in Obwalden, so I'll be arriving by car, just before 9am. I have three spaces in my car for a possible carpool from Stansstadt near Lucerne.

We'll meet in front of the Nätschen cable car, heading towards Gütsch, near the station at around 9.20-9.30am.

Meal: packed lunch or in a restaurant (especially if it's cold). It would be nice to eat together.

Equipment: preferably have it or hire it in advance to avoid wasting time.
If you have to hire it on site, we can always meet up afterwards.

Ski Pass price is flexible, sometimes expensive but well worth it given the size of the area and the diversity of the slopes, some of which are quite sporty. In short, it's an area you should get to know and try at least once. That's also why we're leaving early in the morning.

Return journey departing at 16:50 or 17:50, arriving in Zurich/Luzern 2 hours later.

I will cancel/reschedule 2-3 days before if conditions/snow are bad. For organisational reasons, please also confirm your place.
