On Saturday we are going skiing at Aletsch Arena. The forecast predicts full 8 hours of sunshine. Awaiting you are 104 km of pistes varied from blue to black which are set in a breathtaking mountain scenery overlooking the Aletsch Glacier—the longest in Europe.

The connection to Aletsch Arena is surprisingly fast. The train departs from Zürich HB at 07:02 to Brig. At Brig we change to a regional train to Mörel departing at 9:23 and arriving at 9:33. We will meet somewhere in the middle of this train, otherwise already at Mörel at the cablecar station to Riederalp. You’ll easily spot me as the tall one in a bright yellow jacket. Just in case, I’ll message my phone number (WhatsApp preferred) to the registered participants.

I assume all participants have sufficient skiing experience to feel at ease on red slopes and reasonably negotiate black ones. The event is for self-responsible people who ski at their own risk.
