Hi all,
The popular "Creux du Van and the Gorges de l'Areuse" is back on the menu for this Friday, May 1st.
This is a Moderate-Hard Hike depending on your fitness level - A special geological formation with herd of Ibexes and an awesome sunset. Weather should be great as well.
Its a circular loop from and to Noiraigue. Several of us are from Basel and will leave around 8am from Basel SBB. We can meet at Noiraigue train station and the hike will start at 10:15 am. There is a whats app group for coordination on the day.
Distance: 21kms
Elevation gain: 900m
Time: 6.5-7 hrs (assume full day of hiking)

Who should join/NOT join:
You know what the details on Komoot mean and have hiked at least 600-700m gain. While no one will be left behind, at the same time this should NOT be too much of a stretch for you.
