Details

Join me for a hike through the Areuse Gorge in the Canton of Neuchâtel. We will follow the river through narrow canyon sections all the way from Noiraigue to Boudry.

One of the highlights of the hike is the famous stone bridge Saut de Brot.

Time: around 3h walking + time for lunch & photos
Ascent/Descent: +120m / -350m
Difficulty: T1 according to SAC classification

🚆 Logistics
Meeting point: Zurich HB under the blue angel at 08:50
From Zürich: train to Neuchâtel at 09:04
From Neuchâtel: train to Noiraigue at 10:41
We start the hike in Noiraigue at 11:05.
We end the hike in Boudry, from where we take the train back home.

🍽️ Food
We will stop for a picnic along the river, at around 13:00 - so please bring food with you. After lunch, we will arrive at Champ-du-Moulin where we will stop for a coffee at Hôtel de la Truite (subject to availability).
