Session: Auto HTTPs with NGINX Ingress and cert-manager
Manually managing certificates is a tedious and error-prone task. The cert-manager project solves these tasks and makes it easy to expose applications to the World Wide Web directly through NGINX ingress with a secure HTTPS connection. This presentation provides an overview of how NGINX ingress can be used with cert-manager to automate certificate management. A short demo will show what steps are necessary to build such a setup.
Speaker: Marc Merzinger is a Software Engineer living in Switzerland. He works at ti&m as part of the cloud team. His area of expertise is around containers, Kubernetes, Azure and GCP.
