This week we meet in Wipkingen, at NERI Cantina & Cucina, for an Italian 5-Course Tasting Menu.
A curated walk through their best dishes, portioned so we can experience their cuisine in full.
What to expect
Short seasonal menu, rotated often, cooked with what they call a soul-food touch. A deliberately small menu is usually the sign of a kitchen that would rather do eight things properly than thirty things adequately.

The Cellar
Most restaurants give you a leather binder and a price list. NERI in Wipkingen gives you a cellar you actually walk into with over 250 bottles from small Italian producers, chosen by standing in front of the shelf and picking what catches your eye, just by standing there and reading labels instead of scanning a price column on a page.
