Details

Lets meet at Exeon for two talks. We will start at 18:15.

Talk1:
chimney - never transform your data manually again
by Michał Gutowski

When you are building a more complex application you usually have more than one representation of the same data - api representation, domain model and storage. Separation of concerns makes changes much easier, but you have a price to pay - you have to write code that transforms the data between different representations. In many cases its just assigning value from one class to another. Chimney is a very handy library that allows for automatic transformations, that are compile time safe. I will show you how to use it and how much time can you spare.

Talk2:
Scalafix linter rules and code rewrites at work
by Jérôme Amiguet

A journey to harness the potential of Scalafix as an internal migration tool for our own library and as replacement linter to Scalastyle.
A view on a simplified tool for meta-programming.

Important note:
Exeon Analytics will take some photos during the event, those photos will be posted on Exeon Analytics social media. If you don't want your face to appear there, please let me know
