While scouting the net to steal and trade valuable information for currency, computer hacker Neo has always wondered if there is something more to reality. One day, he is contacted by Morpheus, an elusive and dangerous hacker on the run from the law. Morpheus wants to recruit Neo in a war against the Machines, who have rebelled against their human creators and trapped humanity in a simulated reality called The Matrix.
