Movie Night: 28 Years Later (2025)

28 Years Later thrusts us back into a world ravaged by the rage virus, nearly three decades after its initial outbreak. Society, or what remains of it, has fractured into desperate enclaves and isolated communities, each grappling with the lingering threat of the infected and the even more insidious dangers posed by fellow survivors. As new threats emerge and old wounds resurface, the characters are forced to confront not only the monstrous remnants of the pandemic but also the moral decay that has taken root in humanity's fight for survival.

This installment explores themes of legacy, hope, and the agonizing question of whether humanity, in its quest for resurgence, is truly capable of learning from its past, or if it is destined to repeat the same mistakes that brought it to the brink of extinction.

Prepare for a stark and unyielding portrayal of a future where the line between salvation and damnation is perpetually blurred. Directed by British legend Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, Sunshine, 28 Days Later, The Beach), with a script by frequent screenwriting partner Alex Garland (Sunshine, Ex Machina, Annihilation, Never Let Me Go).
