Cheered when the misfit triumphs? Or found courage in your own underdog moment? On Wednesday, May 28th, we’re celebrating stories where the odds are stacked, the spotlight is absent—and yet, against all logic, something extraordinary happens.

Join us for an evening of true, personal tales about:
✨The unlikely hero (spoiler: it might be you).
✨The comeback no one saw coming.
✨The quiet force that outlasts the loudest voice.
✨The triumph hidden in a seeming defeat.

From Albisrieden to Zürichberg, underdogs lurk everywhere. Whether it’s rebellion, resilience, or simply refusing to stay down, we want to hear your UNDERDOG story.

How It Works
1. Prepare a 5-minute true story (no notes!) relating to the theme.
2. Drop your name in the hat to tell it.
3. If yours is drawn, take the stage—and own it!

No experience needed—just bring a story and open ears!
At the end of the night, the audience votes for their favorite storyteller. The winner takes home a cool prize and qualifies for our GrandSLAM—where the best storytellers of the year compete for the ultimate title!

** StorySLAM stories are to be under 5 minutes and true, as recalled by the storyteller. Names of those who wish to tell a story are put in the StorySLAM hat and drawn to see who goes first second .. until we run out of time. The night’s best StorySLAM is selected by the audience.

A SIMPLIFIED GUIDE FOR DESIGNING YOUR STORY

• Define a character (probably yourself;-) How were you feeling at that moment? Confident, lonely, conflicted, anxious, stressed, in lust or love?
• Where are you? Home, work, sunset, on the street, hotel, hiking in the mountains?
• What’s at stake? Career, security, peace of mind, redemption, future happiness?
• What was the crisis or conflict that triggered that moment for you?
• How did it work out? Did it make you angry, sad or filled with remorse; or delighted and contented peace of mind? Bring us full circle and share your beautiful truth as you are now.
