About us
Dinner Exchange is a hosting circle across Zürich and the surrounding region where people take turns opening their homes for small dinners.
There’s no ticketing, no fixed format and no pressure to impress. Someone decides to host, plans a menu they genuinely care about, and a small group gathers around the table.
Some evenings are simple, some are elaborate - but all of them are personal.
This group exists for people who enjoy cooking beyond the everyday routine, who appreciate sitting down for a proper dinner, and who are open to meeting others outside their usual circle.
You don’t need to be a professional chef - most of us aren’t; you just need to care about what you’re putting on the table and be open to inviting guests to your home.
Dinners happen across Zürich, Winterthur, Zug, Luzern and nearby areas.
If you’re curious, start by joining an apéro or attending a dinner as a guest. Hosting usually comes naturally after that.
