Join us for one of Switzerland’s most magical autumn traditions: the Räbechilbi in Richterswil!

Each year, around 30 tons of turnips are transformed into beautifully carved lanterns that light up the village during a spectacular evening parade.

Over 20 market stalls fill the charming old village with delicious treats, grilled sausages, sweets, and warm drinks.

As dusk falls, the glowing lanterns turn Richterswil into a fairy-tale wonderland, with around 40 illuminated artworks parading through the streets.

Don’t miss the magical illuminated fountain, shooting bursts of light into the night sky at 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm, and 8:30 pm.

💡 Important:
Please buy the official festival badge for CHF 10 (sellers will be walking around the village). Cash only. Your contribution supports the local organizers who make this beautiful event possible.
