The award-winning Munich-based singer, composer, and pianist Alma Naidu is one of the standout voices of the young European jazz scene. Trained in Munich, London, and Cologne, she has been honored with awards including the Bavarian Arts Promotion Prize, the BMW Welt Young Artist Jazz Award, and the Kurt Maas Jazz Award.

She tours internationally with her music, performing in countries such as Brazil, France, India, Nepal, Japan, and Mongolia, as well as at Germany’s most prominent venues and festivals. Following her Top 10 debut album ALMA, produced by drumming icon Wolfgang Haffner,
her latest self-produced album, REDEFINE, debuted at No. 3 on the German jazz charts. Thematically, Naidu explores identity, social norms, and the questioning of societal role models in depth.

Her music blends jazz, pop, and singer-songwriter elements into a distinctive, cinematic soundscape that moves with stylistic confidence between purist intimacy and orchestral grandeur—haunting, poetic, and deeply soulful.
