Whether you're a seasoned wine aficionado or just starting your wine journey, our events are designed to educate and connect people in a fun, interactive, lively, creative and exclusive atmosphere.
We purposely host only small and intimate wine experiences to maximize interaction between the attendees and to ensure that everyone gets to participate and know each other.
Our experiences are led by wine expert Joe Benvenuto, Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers, a graduate of the prestigious Burgundy School of Business Wine & Spirits MBA Program, and one of only 12,325 Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Diploma graduates since 1969. Instead of lectures, he leads lively discussions that help you discover the unique world of wine and make informed decisions about your wine choices.

What are we about?
At the Zürich Wine Academy, we're all about building a community of wine lovers who appreciate the joy of wine beyond just drinking it. We explore everything from grape-growing terroirs to food and wine pairings to the cultures and countries behind your favorite vino.
What differentiates us from other wine Meetups?
- We intentionally keep our events small to encourage interaction and maximum participation of our attendees.
- We visit all the wineries showcased at our events and provide context on the environment that produces the wine you drink, from the culture to the terroir.
- All the wine we pour is hand-picked directly from the winery, not some supermarket, local wine shop, or website.
- And lastly, we hold fun giveaways at all of our events! Who doesn't love that?
