🎥 Film: Like a Rolling Stone [出走的决心] (2024), directed by Yin Lichuan
Storyline: The film intimately explores the life of a middle-aged women, long trapped by traditional roles as daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. Drawing on a true story, it portrays her enduring struggle with routine oppression, generational expectations, depression, and familial misogyny, while examining the complex intersections of gender, tradition, and agency in contemporary China.
