What we’re about
This is a group for anyone interested in Japanese matcha tea culture in the tradition of Sen no Rikyū, his contemporaries, and his antecedents. We are especially interested in recreating the spirit of wabi-cha. This group is also for those interested in attendant art forms such as pottery, calligraphy, poetics, and architecture. I very much miss both o-keiko (practice) and chaji (tea events). I hope that we can create a pocket of tea culture in Central New York.
