AWSUG January Meet Up

Details
I'm pleased to announce that we will be holding our next AWS User Group meetup here in the AWS Singapore office on 06 Jan. Despite the usual format being 'First Tuesday', this meeting will be on a Wednesday.
Expect a similar format to the last couple of meetups, we will be hosting here in the AWS Singapore office again, kicking off at 7pm, Pizza and refreshments will be served. Talks will begin at 1920. We aim to keep them short at no more than 20 minutes each with Q&A at the end.
AGENDA:
• Supervising Services from Scripts
Chris Forno
Did you know that you can use the AWS API via JavaScript in a web application? Why would you want to do so? We'll work through a couple examples of applications you can build that interact with AWS from the browser and explain how they can be useful. We'll also see how to build these apps securely (without exposing your credentials).
• Architecture Highlight: serv.sg
Nicolas Mas: CTO, serv.sg
How serv.sg deliver features using AWS infrastructure: programatically building and provisioning a stack before destroying it. This talk will explain what they do, why they do it and the tools they use (packer.io (http://packer.io/), terraform.io (http://terraform.io/), ansible etc.). Includes a live demo of the whole cycle.
• Improving CloudFront for Better Video Delivery
Daniel Muller:System Administrator, Spuul
