Waterfalls, Swimming Holes, White Water Tubing & More

Details
A full day of exploration, beautiful scenery and exciting adventures await you in the Catskill Mountains. We'll start our journey with a visit to the region's crown jewel, Katterskill Falls. Although extremely popular and bound to receive heavy traffic over the holiday weekend, we will approach the highest two tiered falls in New York from a direction less known and even more dramatic. After taking in the views that artists come from near and far to capture on their canvases, we'll head out to some other equally stunning yet less traveled spots including a gorgeous local swimming hole where you'll have a chance to jump in from several ledges of different heights.
As if that was not enough adventure, we'll round out the day with an exhilarating white water tubing tour down the Esopus River. Be prepared for a wild ride! Only a few times a season does the DEC release the dam at 100% and a full release is scheduled for Labor Day Weekend. Be thankful that the tubes come with wood slats to protect your fanny.
After filling our appetite for adventure, we'll be ready to fill our bellies with some good grub. What better place is there for a tasty meal with more great (kooky) scenery than iconic Woodstock? Now that's what I call a groovy adventure.
Optional camping at a private campground along a pretty brook is available the night before for an additional $25/tent. You bring the tent, sleeping bag and pad or we can help you rent them.
Cost includes guides for all the above mentioned activities, tube, helmet, PFD, all logistics and transportation to the tubing put in. Limited transportation to the Catskills is available. We will help facilitate carpooling. Dinner in Woodstock and parking at North South Lake ($6/car) is not included. A complete packing list and other information will be provided once registered and paid. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
