FREE Happy Hour and 10% discount at Sports Basement Sunnyvale!

Sports Basement is once again providing food and drinks for our shopping pleasure, so let's head over there to pick up anything we need to survive an epic season of snowboarding or skiing :). Since it will be dinner time, there will be pizza and drinks (beer, soda, and water for sure, probably wine as well), as well as an array of snacks (chips and dip, cookies, candy, cheese/crackers, mixed nuts, veggies/fruit, some packaged snacks like granola bars, fruit snacks) for our group.

The format is the same as last year; Sports Basement is no longer offering 20% off your total purchase but you still get 10% off your total purchase and SB will match whatever we spend and donate that money to a charity of our choice, in this case, SkiDUCK, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to enriching the lives of disabled and underprivileged children by sharing the joys of skiing and snowboarding.

If you have goggles that are still in good condition (lenses should not be all scratched up!), please donate them to SkiDUCK. I will give you a raffle ticket for each pair of goggles donated which will give you a chance to win a Squaw lift ticket! FYI, I plan on picking names at 7pm sharp.

Even if you're already set for the season, come anyway and have some food and drinks and meet fellow members who you may be spending a lot of time with on the slopes. We'll be in the Summit Room which is all the way in the back to the right, I'm the organizer for the South Bay Snowboarders Meetup group so just ask around for them if you're lost. Hope to see you there!
