I'm posting this for Miki:

The IMBA Trail Care Crew will be in Marin County next week and there are a lot of great activities lined up and it would be great if you could attend them.

W'ell start the festivities on Friday, Sept. 25 from 6 pm - 8 pm, with an IMBA Trail Care Crew Meet and Greet at the "soon to be open" Gestalt Haus in Fairfax (was originally scheduled for Iron Springs). This is your chance to get a peek inside this establishment before it opens. You'll also be able to meet Chris and Leslie Kehmeier of the IMBA TCC, who'll be swinging into town fresh off a visit to Ashland, Oregon. Gestalt Haus caters to mountain bikers, with good beers, great music and indoor bike parking. Gestalt Haus Fairfax is at 123 Bolinas Road.

On Saturday, Sept. 26, we'll be heading out to Point Reyes National Seashore to do trail work on the Olema Valley Trail. Following trail work we'll have a picnic, with hamburgers and sausages from Marin Sun Farms and a keg of Iron Springs Epiphany. All the tools and food will be supplied, we just need bodies. Meet at the Pacific Coast Science & Learning Center on Hwy 1, between Olema and Dogtown at 9:30 am (please carpool). Trail work: 10 am - 2 pm Picnic: 2:30 pm -4:30 pm (back at the Learning Center). If you can't make the trail work, please join us for the picnic.

On Sunday, Sept. 27, there will be a mountain bike ride hosted by Forest KnollsFreewheelers, the folks who built the trails at Tamarancho! The ride will start at the Forest Knolls Post Office at 9 am and head out to the Olema Valley Trail. This is a ride for mountain bikers who can ride 30+ miles at a steady pace. The IMBA TCC will join us.

Please RSVP by replying to Miki at [address removed]
or contact Tom Boss at [address removed] or[masked]

See you next weekend!
