Announcing a new Meetup for Bay Area Cycling!

What: Groom the NEW Single Track in Crocket Hills

When: Saturday, March 6,[masked]:00 AM

Where:
Crockett Ranch Staging Area
1614 Crockett Blvd
Crockett, CA 94525

Hi,
I'm posting this for our friends of The Bicycle Trails Council of the East Bay BTCEB.

In their own words:

"One of the best ways to get trails open for bikes is to build new ones. And that's exactly what EBRPD has done in Crockett Hills Regional Park. It's a big deal, and cyclists now have an awesome opportunity to show their appreciate and let the District know we want more narrow trails!

On Saturday March 6th we'll be working on a *newly constructed, narrow trail* that was designed for multi-use by former IMBA Trail Care Crew leaders Nat and Rachel Lopes of Hilride. This is the first time in a very long time that East Bay Regional Park District has embarked on a new multi-use trail building project, especially a narrow-gauge trail open to bikes.

The schedule includes about a half-day of trail work with FREE lunch provided by the District. BTCEB will also provide a FREE BTCEB t-shirt to the first 25 members who RSVP Daniel Perkins ([address removed]), and snacks from our good friends at Clif Bar.

Meet at the Crockett Ranch Staging Area on Crockett Blvd., just south of Pomona St.. Crockett.

Trail work is sweat equity. It is also fun, rewarding, a great workout and it helps assure continuing trail access for our sport. Please dedicate one day a year to BTCEB Trail Work and support the trails you ride on!

Please RSVP to Daniel ([address removed]) so we can provide EBRPD with a head count for lunch."
