BoulderNet: Job Search Strategy, Connection & Support

The Colorado Workforce Development Council released the 2025 Talent Pipeline Report on December 16, 2025. This twelfth iteration of the Talent Pipeline Report analyzes and explains labor market information, highlights talent development strategies, and provides data-informed opportunities to enhance the talent pipeline in Colorado. This webinar will highlight key data findings and takeaways from the 2025 report, including:

• Colorado top jobs and occupational projections
• Trends and conditions of Colorado's labor market, which will also include some data specific to the Boulder area
• Colorado population factors to consider: aging and migration
• Potential headwinds

Ryan Gedney is a Denver-based economist, having worked in Colorado's state government in a variety of roles for 18 years. Presently, Ryan is the Talent Pipeline Senior Analyst in a position shared with the Colorado Workforce Development Council and the Colorado Department of Higher Education. As the lead author of Colorado's 2025 Talent Pipeline Report, Ryan will discuss key data findings and takeaways from the report during the May 7th BoulderNet webinar. Ryan holds a bachelor's degree in communications from Colorado State University and a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Colorado - Denver.
