TOYS FOR TOTS RUN TO THE PUB DOG - PUT ON YOUR SANTA HAT!

C3M has partnered with MINI of Baltimore County again this year to help them with the TOYS FOR TOTS campaign. We are planning to meet at MINI of Baltimore, hang around the showroom, shop in the parts department for the latest MINI gear, and most importantly, donate a new unwrapped toy to TOYS FOR TOTS. MoB will provide light refreshments. In addition, there will be a 20% discount for any purchases in the parts department. We will then gather all the toys and deliver them to the Toys R Us up the street from MOB. From there we are off on a run through the back roads of Baltimore County and Howard County for pizza and liquid refreshments at the Pub Dog. This run is sometimes referred to as the MINI-Go-Round Run due to the numerous round abouts. We will have a really busy day. If you are not able to make it on the 15th, please help by dropping off a toy between now and then.

The worst part is getting away from the Reisterstown Rd area... Then the nice twisty bits at a pretty sedate pace... Too bad we didn't get to do a Mini go round... Just too much traffic.

I finally got a Santa hat! Also--I've RSVP'd yes to the Pub Dog (the eating part) but we might not stay for that. Would you rather I change my answer? I figured I'd save us a spot just in case.

A drive up? If its what it sounds like, I only live 10 minutes away. If its not what it sounds like, please explain. And Daniel--my life is full of regret. Just kidding.

We will probably leave MOB by 2:00. We will start the run from Toys R Us no later than 2:30. That should put us at the Pub Dog by 4:30 or so. Those who did this run last year with Bill will remember that there are a lot of lights and roundabouts so it will be challenging to stay together. Bring your radios!

I "need" a nap as much as I "need" pizza & beer :-) Naps, like the latter, are good.

      Or not naps enough :-))

jeez Will, make up your mind. Don't need naps? Do need naps?

      December 11, 2012

  • erica

So if you do all the C3M options today it looks something like this? 1:30 dealership/Toys R Us, drive. 4:30 Pub Dog, 7:00 Merriweather. When is naptime? ;)

I need naps. I might bail after the drive and before the pub...at a certain MINI event this weekend, I went back to my car at Longwood Gardens--too many hours (2+) for walking and flowers. Otherwise I wouldn't have survived the driving part right afterwards! Might I add that it is not very easy to nap in the Coupe...

:-)) Depends on what you choose to buy, but right off whatever it is you've saved 50%. I'll be looking for the sales items to make my dollar go further (more toys for the kids).
