It's HOT ... and honestly, strumming inside on a cool July night sounds MUCH better than a sultry beach jam in the sun!
Our July CUUL jam will take place on Thursday, July 24th. We'll be playing out of a set of songbooks shared by Rudy a while ago, and are open to any songs anyone shows up with. Let's learn new things!
We meet at Meadows Presbyterian Church from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Because of Vacation Bible School, THIS MONTH ONLY we'll be meeting in the Dogwood Room, which one reaches by walking through the sanctuary. Park in the side parking lot and plan to enter through the double doors at the front of the church.
Our normal practice is to gather in a circle and take turns selecting songs for the group to play and sing together, either from the songbook or from music folks have brought with them. There's no obligation to either choose or lead songs; other folks are happy to help where needed, and a good time is sure to be had by all!
