What to do for the second Content Strategy meetup?

Thanks again to everyone who came to the first Content Strategy: Seattle meetup. I think I got to talk to everyone, and I know I enjoyed meeting you all.

Let's do it again. There are a few ideas about future meetups posted on the calendar: Meetup topic suggestion

Per Nick's (excellent) suggestion, I'll email Kristina Halvorson to see if she's available next time she's in town. (I know she'll be here in April for An Event Apart.)

I propose, however, that our next meetup be an explicit discussion of what content strategy is. That was a recurring theme among people I talked to -- several people are familiar with the field, but it's new to a lot of people. (If we don't do that next time, I'd suggest it for the meeting after that.)

Another option: Another casual meet and greet, probably a little later in the evening so people can eat first and come in from the east side.

One more question about the next meetup: Should we try for one in December, or wait until early January, after the holidays? Proposed dates: Wednesday, Dec. 16, or Thursday, Jan. 7.

I'm looking forward to meeting some of you again and the rest of you for the first time. Let me know any of your ideas -- by email, on the meetup group's message board, wherever -- and let's make this a regular event that spreads the word about content.
