Cover6 Community is one of the largest cybersecurity communities in the country. Since 2012, we've brought together career changers, students, SOC analysts, pentesters, security leaders, and hiring teams.
We host free virtual meetups, live on YouTube. We cover offensive and defensive security, hands-on learning, career strategy, and live demonstrations.
The DMV chapter also hosts in-person Meet & Greets in Arlington, VA. No agenda, no slides — just the community in one room. And we now have chapters in Atlanta and West Palm Beach.

Meet Your Organizer
Tyrone E. Wilson founded this community in 2012 and has led it ever since. He's the Founder and CEO of Cover6 Solutions, with 30 years in IT and cybersecurity — network defense, penetration testing, threat analysis, and incident response, hands on the keyboard. He serves on the Review Board at BSides NoVA and the Advisory Board at Howard University, and speaks regularly at conferences across the country.

SOC Analyst Prep is a two-day live workshop for aspiring SOC analysts, IT professionals moving into security, and returning Cover6 students who want guided practice with the tools and thinking behind the job.
