Clojure brings powerful features to the JVM including support for native immutability, higher order functions, and a simple yet elegant library for processing data. We will visit these power features walking through code together. After introducing the concepts we’ll dive in and get our hands dirty experimenting with the code. Later in the evening we will peek underneath the covers and see what makes these data structures tick and how immutability, higher order functions and the sequence abstraction work together to form a powerful combination.
