Location Notes

This month's DevOpsDC is being held at AARP on E Street, NW. Arrive before 7:00PM to use the 611 E Street entrance; after 7:00PM, please use the entrance at 601 E Street. The meeting will be held on the 2nd floor of building 2 in room B2-120. Gallery Place metro is less than 2 blocks away, Metro Center is 6 blocks away. Parking is available in the building accessible on both E Street, and F Street. There are also parking lots across the street on E street.

• 7:15 - 8:45 - Presentations, discussions, etc.

• Architecture review of a Cassandra-based SaaS analytics platform - Brian Spindler (https://www.meetup.com/DevOpsDC/members/25721542/) - Netuitive (http://www.netuitive.com) provides behavior learning technology to automate performance analysis for DevOps and enterprise users. Their new SaaS platform can ingest data at 10 second interval and apply real-time analytics to incoming time-series data. During this presentation, their lead engineers will take us under the hood, and present their architecture that is based on Spring Boot, RabbitMQ, HazelCast, and Cassandra. They will take us through their design criteria, technology choices, development/operational challenges, and their architecture roadmap.

• We still have room for one more presenter or for a series of lightning talks. Get in touch if you'd like to present something from 5-40 minutes.
