• What is NetDevOps? - Scott Suehle (@8bitdad (https://twitter.com/8bitdad)), Cumulus Networks - What happens when the traditional world of Networking opens up and allows common data center and server management tools in to play? NetDevOps is a growing area of IT infrastructure. No longer do the Networking teams and the SysAdmin teams have to speak different languages. Now that tools like Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Forman, and Vagrant can be used to setup, test, develop, and maintain networks it allows for the DevOps Engineer to add more to the toolbox and for companies to realize potential areas to break free from vendor lock-in and create more choice in infrastructure.
• What's new with Ansible 2.0 - James Martin (@grepless (http://twitter.com/grepless)), Red Hat - An overview of Ansible 2.0 and beyond with James S. Martin, Automation Practice Lead at Red Hat. James will explain why the update was necessary, what has changed in Ansible, and what you can expect from Ansible moving forward. You'll also learn about new features available in Ansible 2.0, including:
• Task blocks Execution strategies
• Refined playbook parser
• Increased flexibility
• New modules and plugins
• 8:45 - 9:00 - Networking
