Consumer search behaviour is complex. A single purchase will involve multiple searches across devices and different time periods in each time. This is where the user makes a decision and begins to form a perception of the brand, therefore this is where your brand needs to be present. Targeting this has so many more levels than your traditional forms of digital marketing but we need to get up to speed as some of the world’s biggest companies are already beating us. The entire dynamic of how we talk and measure SEO needs to adapt to suit this new ecosystem, and fast.
