#LeanCoffeeKL 98 - The Golden Age of Piracy

This week we'll be talking about the golden age of piracy. No, not using Kazaa in 2006. We're talking about the turn of the 18th century. Flintlocks, peg legs and booty.

There are a number of parallels between startups and this time period. We'll look at stories such as Henry Morgan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Morgan)'s, comparing this age to the modern day comparing government sanction on ownership of data, personal vs. corporate rights, etc. Through a series of exercises and sketches, we should come up with some interesting metaphors and all learn a thing or two.
