Learn To Be A Docent for Nature Programs at the Volcan Mountain Nature Center

Details

Saturday, June 20th, join the Volcan Mountain Foundation's (VMF) growing volunteer docent group for a workshop led by naturalist and interpretive specialist, Mary Aldern and VMF volunteer educator, Sheana Fry. From 10am-1pm, discover VMF's Volcan Mountain Nature Center (22850 Volcan Road, Julian, CA 92036) and learn how to share your passion for nature with visitors from youth to adult. New participants are welcome and encouraged to come and explore their interest in sharing nature with others.

In this session, participants will learn about leading hikes and how to engage with a hiking audience. You will also work on designing classes using an outline for a fun and knowledgeable outdoor experience. Please contact Nicole at VMF office to RSVP by Friday, June 19th at 760-76-2300 or admin@volcanmt.org.

Visit the Volcan Mountain Foundation's website at www.VolcanMt.org for ongoing updates of events and activities on and around the Volcan Mountain Range.
