Sencha Jobs

Hey Folks,

Brian will be speaking at SourceDevCon in London during our normal meetup time, and I'm too swamped to put together a presentation in time. So, we're going to try something out this month. We'll be doing a slightly more social meet, but discussing the topic of Sencha-related employment.

If you're unaware, Ext & Touch have been in high demand nationwide. I've been on all sides of this arena... contractor, consultant, recruiter, staffer, etc. I've seen the demand skyrocket.... many people are interested in finding Sencha-related jobs, and there are a number of recruiters who have been in touch with us about finding people.

This is not meant to be a mini job fair, but I'd like to get some discussion going around what employers are looking for, what employees are looking for, and really help get a better understanding of how people view/leverage Sencha in the workplace. I'm going to emphasize & enforce that this meet is meant to be informative... no poaching of existing employees allowed.

This group was created to focus on Sencha technology. That will remain the primary focus going forward. However; if this "pilot" meet is something folks benefit from, we may consider having a regular secondary meet once a quarter (or some timeframe that works for everyone) to discuss jobs.
