A little known museum here, the UCL Grant Museum of Zoology housing a collection dating back to 1827.

The Grant Museum of Zoology provides a unique window on the entire animal kingdom. It is the only remaining university zoology museum in London.

During our visit we will have a brief introductory talk from the museum staff, following this you can either show yourselves around or follow the self guided tour, which consists of finding the museum's 10 top exhibits (the link to the sheet detailing these is here http://www.ucl.ac.uk/museums/zoology/visit/gmz-tour.pdf ).
Entrance is free and open to all.

PS Please consider this is a University College London museum, a place of learning and study, yet it is also potentially unsettling for those of a squeamish or mild disposition (for your sake I've tried to avoid including such images here).
PPS Yes once again that is a comedy smiley face, this time a rare type of zebra's skeleton.
