FUTURE EVENTS: We are committed to hosting more and more FREE HUGS gatherings!
The Smithsonian National Mall gathering on May 17, 2015 commenced a grassroots movement in the United States to spread and to encourage more and more peace, love and understanding.
We expect that other FREE HUGS gatherings will appear in Washington, DC, Baltimore, Frederick, Alexandria, Arlington, Falls Church, Reston, etc. at other venues and events (eg. 10K races/marathons, outdoor concerts, Baltimore harbor, etc.).
We lovingly and happily encourage people to put on similar events throughout the year. People living in the Greater Washington, DC - Baltimore Region are welcome to place events on this website. Just contact us on FreeHugsDCMDVA@gmail.com and we will make you an Event Organizer.
