We will meet in front of the Environmental Education and Resiliency Center in parking field 1 at Hempstead Lake State Park. We will take a moderately paced hike.

During summer season NYS Parks parking fees apply. Free with empire pass or NYS residents aged 62 plus.

Check within an hour before the event for cancellations due to weather.

This is an event organized for our friends to get together and socialize. We are not professional hikers or professional organizers. You are welcome to join us but before you attend you must familiarize yourself with the risks associated with this type of activity.
