About us
Other Queens meetups seem to meet right outside Manhattan (LIC, etc) and other Nassau County meetups seem to meet by Suffolk (Massapequa, etc.) This meetup is great for those who want to meet somewhere in the middle. Deeper into Queens( Bayside, Floral Park, Forest Hills, etc )and right into Nassau County (New Hyde Park, Garden City, Mineola, etc.) Membership is free and open to those 21 and older who want to hang out, relax and have fun in Queens and Nassau County. We will try to organize various types of meetups: dining, bars, wine enthusiasts, beer enthusiasts, brunch, movies, outdoor activities, indoor activities, ladies’ night, boys night out, local tours, singles’ night, couples’ night and family days. Members – if you’re from any part of New York…you’re a local. We are open to singles, couples, families, etc. We are an everybody group!.....We were also on TV!

Beach, Ocean, Food, Moon, Music!
Grand Blvd Long Beach, Grand Blvd Long Beach New York, Long Beach, NY, USA great evening at the beach listening to music you didn't hear in high school. T'BAZCO Road plays high energy New Orleans dance-party zydeco, boogie, blues, and Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers and Little Feat. Laissez les bon temps rouler (Let the good times role)!
This is a multi group event. This is not an easy venue to get to for most people, but no so bad for those in SW Nassau. It won't be a highly attended event, but so far, 10 of us are going.
The band starts at 7pm, but come early and enjoy the beach, ocean, sunset, and the birds, no admission charge, free street parking. Bring your dinner, or order from nearby stores who deliver to the boardwalk. Also, bring something to drink, (be discreet with alcohol), something to sit on, something to share, maybe some bug spray.
I'll be there by 5:30, look for the fish flag (see picture below), to the left of the sound techs as you face the stage, ON THE BEACH. I might be taking a walk, but you'll see my blue chair, and the fish flag. The earlier you arrive, the better the parking.
